Integrating Several Fuel Sources
Powertech first introduced their Multi Fuel Thermal Store in 1997. Since then many of our solar installations and hybrid systems have been integrated through a Thermal Store. The beauty of it is that it allows you to collect water heated by several means such as a solar thermal panel, air source heat pump, ground source heat pump, wood burner, range as well as a conventional boiler. It will supply domestic hot water at mains pressure and wet underfloor/high efficiency radiator heating systems.Key Features
The Powertech Multi Fuel Thermal Store features excellent twin plate insulated heat exchangers which provide domestic hot water at mains pressure on demand. There is no scale build up inside the store and there are no coils as all energy inputs are direct*, for fast heat transfer efficiency. All thermal stores include immersion heaters as backup in 3-6kW outputs.Made to Order
Powertech Thermal Stores are designed to meet individual household demands for hot water. Sizes range from 185 litres to 900 litres. They are also available in on-demand mains hot water systems as an alternative to other commercial unvented sealed systems.Key Benefits
